What started as a personal visit with a small circle of women grew into a vision: Auntie’s Outside would become the presence, the comfort, and the cultural embrace that so many college students quietly crave.
This year, 2026, Landi-Lou formalized the idea—partnering with the Golden Services Foundation, a nonprofit rooted in community uplift, youth development, and educational support. Together, they shaped Auntie’s Outside into a program that blends HBCU culture, family tradition, and philanthropic purpose.
Today, Aunties Outside is more than a weekend event. It is a cultural experience, a community activation, and a philanthropic platform designed to uplift college students through Care Packages, Mentorship, Emotional Support, On-Campus and Virtual Visits, Scholarship Opportunities.
The movement found its home during one of the most vibrant cultural weekends of the year: The Tuskegee vs Morehouse Classic. A celebration of legacy, pride, sisterhood, and community—exactly the energy Auntie’s Outside embodies. It is a movement built on the belief that students thrive when community shows up for them.
DEAR SPONSORS,
On behalf of Landi‑Lou Productions and the “Auntie’s Outside” Movement, I am honored to extend to you an exclusive invitation to partner with us in supporting college students through care, culture, and community.
What began as a simple act of love—a mother visiting her daughter’s dorm with a rug—has grown into a movement of aunties showing up for students across campuses.
Aunties Outside provides mentorship, care packages, and encouragement to students who are far from home, helping them feel seen, valued, and supported.
We are preparing for the upcoming Aunties Outside College Care Weekend, and we invite your organization to join us as a corporate sponsor.
Your sponsorship will:
A) Provide direct support to students through care packages and mentorship.
B) Expand our reach to more campuses and students in need.
C) Lay the foundation for the Aunties Outside Scholarship Fund.
In return, sponsors receive recognition on event materials, social media, and our website, as well as opportunities to engage directly with students and community members. Most importantly, your partnership demonstrates your commitment to education, equity, and community empowerment.
We would be honored to have you join us in this mission. Together, we can show up for the next generation.
With gratitude,
Dr. Calandria U. Smith
Founder & CEO
Join us for our upcoming second annual event. We can't wait to see you there.
